What Is Missing From This List?

I guess the real question here is “who” is missing from this list?  You!  There are what I call “standard” freelance careers and then there are some really the “out there” where you get as wild and crazy as you want.

So, How Many of These Did You Come Up With?

This is just a 10-minute “brain dump” on my behalf.  I have a list that I have been adding to for years, which is probably about six times longer than this list.  However, I am sure you can find something of interest to do or even add something to this list.  You may even have some of these on your own bucket list.

Realize This…

Even within each category, there are many options such as writer.  There is copywriting, article writing, resume writing.  Fiction.  Non-fiction.

There are also ways to combine interests, such as a dog walker and a travel writer.  Combine these two, and you could become an international dog walker traveling the world, writing about tourist attractions and walking dogs and making money with that too.  Not to mention writing about the best dog parks—internationally speaking!

Don’t Forget Your Enforcers

Those of you who have coached with me know how I am always getting on the bandwagon about using work-at-home jobs as enforcers.  There are so many work-at-home jobs offering many of these, which will get you up and running while you learn a little more about marketing.  There are other reasons to get those enforcers set up and running, but that is certainly one of the eight reasons.

Even though I would much rather see you in your own business cherry picking your own clients making the money you want (yeah, it can still happen!), sometimes enforcers can get you out of your own way and at least get up and running!

Remember Search Engines

They are one your best friends when it comes to researching.  Just make sure that you use them—or learn to use them—to your full advantage.

In the Future…

Many of these categories—not all of them—will be discussed on this blog or in upcoming workshops or in one-on-one coaching sessions.  Make sure that if you are still trying to reinvent you work and need help that you reach out.

Just give me a shout.  Always here to be of service and guide you into finding what fits your reinvention and your after 50+ life while still honoring your true purpose and calling.

You can also create your own purposefully cool job too.  Again, it’s all about reinvention!  Hey, we are 50+ and deserve to make it happen.

As always, do your homework as well.  You can google reviews for each site as well as check out Glassdoor, SiteJabber, and Indeed reviews.  Also, sign up for the many WAH (work-at-home) sites where I am always guest posting.  Many of them are already posted on this website or in my newsletter.  (You did sign up for it, didn’t you?)

Let me also give you a bit of homework here.  If you google my name with the freelance careers listed above, you will find that there are sites that I have written about such as Rover or DoggyVacay.  I have also written about how to find private clients and get up and running.  Have a little fun with Google and my name (Leisa Good), and see what you find.

As always, I am here to be of service to you.
