Interactive Circle Hires Social Media Appointment Setters, Experts, and Other Positions

Do you want a full-time work from home job with set hours?

Are you experienced with sales and outbound calling?

Do you consider yourself an enthusiastic multi-tasker?

Well, perhaps becoming an appointment setter at Interactive Circle might be something that you would enjoy.

What Exactly is InterActive Circle?

InterActive Circle is a company that offers design, print, and marketing services to help companies build their brand and get their message out into the marketplace.  Founded in 2006, they offer web design and printed materials just like Vistaprint does, but they also offer marketing services via PPC (Paid Per Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

This would be an opportunity for many of you who already have had the marketing and sales jobs in the past as well as office workers needed for the appointment setting.  Many 50+ have held down at least one of these types of jobs somewhere in their past work life.

What Do Appointment Setters Do at InterActive Circle?

Well obviously, you will be setting appointments via outbound calling for the Business Development team.  However, it is more involved than that.  You will be engaging with the customers by asking probing questions about his/her needs and being able to interest them in the products.  You will also need to be good about following up via inbound calls that come via the Internet, direct mail, emails or referrals.

You need to be someone who can also handle a high volume of calls.  In other words, it could be considered a high volume sales job.  Your job is to get the customer interested enough in the products and services to want to schedule an appointment.

What Are the Equipment/Work Requirements to Set Appointments at InterActive Circle?

The ideal candidates should have:

  • A list of references to verify sales conversions especially in appointment setting.
  • A high school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of sales experience or a marketing degree.
  • An active knowledge of MS Office and email handling with a hard-wired computer or laptop.
  • The ability to type 30 wpm.
  • The ability to perform under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • The ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • The ability to write clear concise correspondence.
  • The ability to reason and then apply the concept.

What Are the Hours and Pay For This Position at InterActive Circle?

You must be able to meet a weekly sales quota (minimum) of 10 scheduled calls.  While the hours are advertised as full-time, you must work at least 25 hours.  However, you can go up to 40 hours if you would like.  The pay is $10 an hour plus sales bonuses.

This is an employee position with both part-time and full-time offered.  It looks as if they do have a few benefits for full-time depending upon the position.

The company is over 10 years old and growing with more positions and opportunities opening up.  It is always a good idea to bookmark something like this if you are interested and check the job listings regularly.

How Could An Interested Individual Apply to InterActive Circle?

You could go to the Careers Navigation button on their website and fill out the simple form there or go to Indeed.  Should you do go to Indeed, you would type “InterActive Circle” (without quotes) into the keyword field and “Remote” without quotes into the location field.  On the dropdown location field, just be sure NOT to select “Remote, OR”.  There actually is a place called Remote, Oregon.

If there are no more appointment setter positions at InterActive Circle, then you may want to view their other opportunities.  There are generally a couple listed.

My Coaching Two Cents’ Worth

This is a legitimate opportunity to become a work-at-home employee instead of an independent contractor.  However, like all opportunities, it is wise to learn to do your own research too.

Glassdoor, SiteJabber, and Reddit are the three that I use to research work from home companies.  I would aim no lower than a 3.0 out of 5 star review, and I would also take the time to read some of the comments made by the actual workers too.

In this case, Interactive Circle did receive a 3.1 out of 5 stars on Glassdoor.

Good luck to all who apply.
